Move over Pavarotti. Move over Beethoven and Wagner. You’ve got some competition from a little 8-bit character named Mario. From the talented (from the one video I’ve seen so far) duo of Jon and Al Kaplan comes Super Mario Bros.: The 8-Bit Opera. It’s a pretty spectacular almost three minute clip that takes you through the epic journey in the original Mario brothers game of Mario’s quest to save the Princess from the evil Bowser. Now that’s a throwback. Super Mario Bros. came out on September 13, 1985 – 26 years ago!
